Hi! Thanks for stopping by! We are a husband and wife graphic design team, and a couple of Etsy addicts! This blog is primarily used to showcase our designs that aren't shown in our Etsy store. But we'll also be updating it with fun Etsy finds and wedding tips. Have questions or an idea for something you'd like to see on here? We'd love to hear from you. Click HEREto send us a convo!
We've made the jump...over to a new url. You can find these, and all of our new entries, over on our newly designed blog, http://izzyandthebean.com/blog
I can't stop swooning over this warm yellow color. It's not quite as bright as your basic yellow, but I think it's a lovely alternative to metallic gold...or even ivory. I've paired it up with an aqua color, and some cool grays in these two new invitations from our etsy store. The rest of the items have been created by members of the Etsy Wedding Team. To find additional matching items search "etsyweddingteam" on Etsy!
Over the last couple of years we've seen small weddings become a growing trend. Especially smaller ceremonies with larger receptions. For those couples looking for a way to invite people to different events we've designed invitation sets with multiple pieces to mix and match for each specific guest.
This invite set includes a larger invite for the reception, a standard size rsvp, and two smaller invitations for guests who are invited to the more intimate ceremony and dinner.
This is also a great way to invite people to a rehearsal dinner, give them information about hotel/area information, or let them know where you've registered at. For more information about pricing, designs, and sizes contact us!
Izzy and the Bean Design is now offering pocketfold invitations! Pocketfolds are available in the 5x7 size, and will work with any of our vertical invitation designs. Available colors include silver, pearl, black, white linen, brown linen, and red linen. Each pocket adds an additional $1.80 to each set and comes unassembled. For additional information, pricing, or if you have any questions, send us a convo and we'll get back to you asap!
We'd like to extend a big thank you to all of the brides, grooms, guests, and vendors who made our first wedding fair here in Nashville such a success! Please contact us if you have any follow up questions or comments, we'd love to hear from you!
We are excited to announce that Izzy and the Bean Design will be a vendor at the 2010 Nashville Bridal Fair! If you're in the area, stop by, grab some sample wedding invitations, and say hey!

This has been one of my favorite wedding color schemes for some time now. It works for anytime of year, but if you're looking for a brighter alternative to creams and browns for your fall wedding I find this to be a nice option. These are just a few of the many Etsy Wedding Team's wedding pieces using these colors. To search for more, visit etsy.com and search "etsyweddingteam."
This spring has brought exciting changes for us here at Izzy and the Bean Design. To start with we've moved! We have relocated out of Texas and are settling down in Nashville, TN. We can not wait to be a part of the Nashville wedding community, and are excited about the opportunities here...including our first wedding fair!
Our wedding invitation store is still located on Etsy, and because we ship using flat rate boxes all of our rates will stay the same. We have also created our Facebook page which will be updated with photos and information regularly. And of course you can follow us on Twitter!
This spring we added the Laine wedding invitation to our store and it has quickly become our most popular design. Here are some of our favorite complimenting brown and green pieces from the Etsy Wedding Team!
Well, you can still call this a belly band right...I guess it goes the other way? :) In any case, Jenna and Craig added a lovely DIY touch to our Leanne wedding invitation by incorporating a ribbon and square monogram to match the invite. I love the bold, solid line the ribbon creates in contrast to the thin lines of the invitation design. We also designed a custom map of Nova Scotia to be included in the set.
Thanks for the photos guys! Congratulations again!
